Your sixth grader will be in an environment focused on enhancing self-worth, experiencing happiness, and giving back to others. As academic pressure reaches its peak with important exams, we support students in managing stress and preparing for their future plans, alleviating feelings of confusion and anxiety. We help deepen their self-awareness by identifying strengths and weaknesses, which positively affects their confidence and sense of value. Social pressures, including exclusion or bullying, are addressed to promote healthy peer relationships. During group time, we continue mindfulness practices, including “Mindfulness First Aid” exercises, to help them effectively manage their emotions. When weather permits, we’ll enjoy outdoor play in our spacious yard.
Our bright, engaging classrooms encourage students to plan their own activities for grades 4 to 6, fostering leadership and collaboration skills. They participate in volunteer services, enhancing their sense of contribution and community involvement. Students set personal goals for themselves, such as creating a presentation to share and encourage others before graduation, which boosts their self-worth and efficacy. We incorporate happiness education courses to help them experience joy and fulfillment.
